We are a career strategy and resume writing agency. You work directly with the owner ONLY.
Career strategy – what does that mean?
Career strategy means we take all of your information – resume, job history, any additional info that you give us, along with a copy of the job description of the position you want to apply for and strategically craft your resume around that. This gives you the best possible chance of passing the ATS system keywords for the position you want and getting that interview.
Career strategy also includes positioning your experience, skills, and accomplishments to align with your target role, improve your competitiveness in today's job market, and better reflect the qualifications employers are seeking.
Pricing:
What we charge is non-negotiable. Do not ask us if we can “do better” on our price.
We charge a commensurate fee for our services which include a complete from the ground up resume re-write, a cover letter you can customize, a half hour of free interview coaching, posting your resume on Indeed and often bundling all of these services with a LinkedIn profile re-write if you request it.
Our Process:
We strongly encourage prospective clients to call us and talk to us, which is why we offer an initial FREE 20 minute consult.
If after that we decide to work together, this is our process:
- Your fee is based upon your career level. That is non-negotiable.
- We send you an invoice for the agreed upon fee, which is non-negotiable and is often generously bundled with other services such as a LinkedIn profile update and a complimentary half hour interview coaching session.
- You have 24 hours to pay our invoice. This signals to us that you are committed to the process of not only elevating your career but also working with us.
- Once the invoice has been paid, you may then email us your current resume, your old resume, your work history and any additional information you want us to know. This includes a copy of a job description for the type of position you are looking for. Too much information helps us much better than not enough.
- We review all information sent and come back at you with questions so that we can clarify, fill in the blanks, and be completely clear on your objectives.
- You then receive a preliminary draft version. From there we work back and forth until we come up with a version that we both approve of. How many draft versions? As many as it takes to give you that rockstar resume.
- Once you have given us your final approval, we construct your customizable cover letter – not always a necessity but certainly very nice to have in your back pocket should it be requested.
- Then we proceed to posting your resume on Indeed, updating your LinkedIn profile if that was part of the package, and giving you the half hour of complimentary interview consulting if you desire that.
Communication and Working Relationship:
- Everything is documented in writing - either via text or email. We do not engage in verbal he said / she said / you forgot I said this or that.
- You work with the owner ONLY at all times.
- We are very painfully direct and straightforward as we find it establishes a strong trust relationship. If you are NOT comfortable with that, we are not the career agency for you.
- We work with clients all over the United States and Canada via Zoom, phone, text and email. We do not conduct in office consultations.
What We Are NOT:
- A resume mill / resume factory. We are NOT interested in cranking out resumes for the sake of cranking out resumes.
- A resume typing service. We do NOT offer this service. It is of absolutely no value when applying and getting through the ATS system.
- Let’s Make a Deal. Our pricing is non-negotiable. If you are basing the upward mobility of your career based on price only, we are not the career service for you.
- A template based service; an AI resume generation service; or an offshore resume service.
